Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti is celebrated every year to mark the birth anniversary of one of the most influential and celebrated Nobel laureates poet Rabindranath Tagore.
According to Gregorian Calendar Tagore was born on May 7 1861.
According to Drik Panchang this year Tagore Jayanti will be celebrated on May 9 2022.
Rabindranath Tagore was called Gurudev and the collection of his poems is popularly known as Rabindrasangeet.
To give an honour to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore Hari Vidya Bhawan organized an activities of Sketching, Poem Writings and Reciting Tagore's poem.
The activity was conducted on 7 May 2022 for classes IX to Xll.
All students participated with full enthusiasm.
